Day 1 of your trip

Day 1 : Padang to Siberut island to Mentawai clan house

06.00 pickup from your hotel

07.00 mentawai fast leaving for Sikabaluan north of Siberut

11.00 arrive in Sikabaluan/ North of Siberut we rest have luch here

12.00 leaving Sikabaluan for siberut with some Mentawai fast (Transport)

13.00 arrive in siberut (our place to visit) we take a motor bike for muntai

14.00 We will collect your entry permit to the national park ( inculuded in price ) before leaving muntai for Rorogot by motor canoe it takes 1.30 hours

16.30 start to treak from rorogot to Mentawai house take 1.30 house

18.30 arrive at the Mentawai house and say hello (Anai lo ita) to the mentawai tribe . We have tea or coffee and rest

Day 2 and 3 of your trip

At this point you will have 2 days to do all of these activities and will have more time to connect with the tribe

We follow the Mentawai activity

Going the jungle with shaman to explore jungle

Watch the mentawai woman to make sogo (food)

Go fishing in the traditional mentawai way

Your guide will explain all of the things inside the uma (house)

Your guide will explain all about the semi-nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle of the tribe

Every night we will be together with the tribe people and can talk with them about there way of life

Day 4 of your trip

Time to say goodbye to your new friends

08.30 After breakfast we go back to the river where we arrived and take the boat back. We have lunch and wait for the boat to padang.

14.30 fast boat from siberut to padang

18.30 arive in padang transport to your hotel

Thing to carry during the trip in Mentawai

Small backpack (you can leave some stuff at the previous place stayed in

(hotel/hostel)

• Long trousers or adventure pants, long sleeves, t-shirt, sun hat

Rain clothes/jacket possible also a ponco

We recommend bringing a dry bag/pocket (waterproof) to protect your camera

and any other important documents and equipment you need to take care of.
